Deciding approvals
See what waits for your decision, read what was submitted and the checks, then approve it or return it with a reason.
Participants send accounts, activities, sections and Awards for approval. Approvals lists what waits for your decision, the oldest first, so nothing sits unseen.
The list
Open Approvals. Under Waiting for you you see what is yours to decide. Everything in your scope adds what waits for someone else in your part of the Award. Choose a Kind and Show to narrow it. Each line shows the level, how long it has waited and how many checks failed.
One request
Open a request. What was submitted shows the details. Checks lists each rule and whether it Passed or Failed, with the reason. Earlier rounds are shown too, if it was returned before.
Under Approve or return, choose Approve to let it go ahead as it was submitted. A note is optional. Choose Return to send it back to the participant, who changes it and sends it again. A return needs a reason, which the participant reads, up to 1000 characters. Then choose Send decision.
If the checks ran again while you had the page open, your decision is not recorded. Look at them again, then decide.
Flag an Award for the Verifier
On the request for an Award’s sign-off, under Flag for the Verifier, write why a Verifier should look at it, up to 1000 characters, and choose Flag it. A flagged Award is always checked by a Verifier after you sign it off, whatever the draw. Flag it before you decide. The flag is shown on the request once it is raised.
When someone is away
A request that waits for a Leader who has not signed in or decided anything for the days your Operator sets, or who no longer holds the role, moves to the admins of the Award Centre. It is marked Escalated in the list, and its page says from whom, why and since when. When a participant gets a new Leader, what waited for the old Leader or for the Centre goes to the new one. Both people are told.
Each check of every round, passed or failed, is also shown to the participant under What was checked.
Approved automatically
Your Operator may approve some requests at once, when every check passes. Approved automatically lists them for 30 days. If one should not stand, open it and choose Return this activity with a reason. The participant sees your reason and changes it, and it comes back to you.
A request that waits for someone else can be read, but not decided.
