Following up on consent
See which parents and guardians have not answered, send the request again, record a form signed on paper, and set how reminders go out.
A young person under the consent age cannot go on until a parent or guardian agrees. Consents shows you who has not answered, so nobody waits unseen.
The list
Open Consents awaited. It lists the parents and guardians who have not answered, with the overdue ones first, marked Overdue. Each line gives the Award Centre, the day we asked and how many reminders went out. Choose Send again to mail the request once more. It can only go again after a short wait.
One participant
Open Parental consent from a participant’s page. Where it stands says whether it is waiting, given, refused, withdrawn or not needed, who was asked and how many mails went out. Here you can:
- Choose Send again to mail the same people.
- Choose Ask again to return the consent to requested and mail each parent or guardian a new link.
- Download the answer as a PDF, once it is given.
- Under Record a consent given on paper, choose who signed, their answer and the day they signed, attach a scan of the form (a PDF or a picture, up to 10 MB) and choose Record the consent.
How reminders go out
Operator admins open Parental consent in the settings. Set the days before a reminder (1 to 14), how many reminders are sent (0 to 5) and the minutes before a request can be sent again (1 to 1440). Choose Save in the draft, then publish from the settings page. Who needs consent, and when it is asked, are set under Who may take part.
