Applying and going live
How an organisation applies to run the Award, and how the first admin takes the new Operator live.
An organisation applies on the Online Record Book’s address for its region. Choose your country, tell us who you are and who will run the Operator first, and send the application. We mail you a private link to see where it stands.
What happens to your application
Your name and address are kept in your region. The Foundation sees your organisation only. It approves the application with an address for your Operator, a time zone, your first languages and the terms of the licence, or it declines it and tells you why.
Your first sign-in
When the application is approved we invite you as the first admin of your Operator. We mail you to confirm your address. Your role waits for its checks until the Foundation has recorded them, like any adult role.
Going live
Open Go live in the console. The checklist covers every part of the console: languages, brand, wording, variant and rules, questions and lists, fees, legal texts, eligibility, consent reminders, leader allocation, reflection, payment gateway, the mail sender, support, vetting and retention. Open each part, set it and publish. If the standard suits you, choose Confirm as it is.
When every item is done or confirmed, choose Go live. People can then find your Operator and register. Until then it stays hidden, but you can still sign in and set it up.
If the Foundation pauses your Operator
The Foundation can pause an Operator. While it is paused, its address shows a notice and nobody can sign in. When the Foundation lifts the pause, everything is as you left it.
