Verifying Awards
See which signed-off Awards wait for your check, read the sign-off and the evidence, and verify them or return them with findings.
A Verifier checks a sample of Awards, and every Award that is flagged, after the Award Leader signs it off. Verification lists them, so quality is checked without a second review of every Award.
The list
Open Verification. The number beside it is how many Awards wait for you in your part of the Award. Waiting for you lists them, the oldest first, with the level, why each is there and how long it has waited. Decided lists what you decided. Narrow either list by Level and Why it is here, then choose Filter.
An Award is there because it was Sampled, drawn at the rate your Operator set for its level, or because it was flagged: by the Award Leader, returned more than twice, signed off with a failed check, assessed on a paper report, mostly logged more than 30 days late, or returned by verification before.
One Award
Open an Award. Why it is here says how it was drawn or flagged. The sign-off shows who signed it off, in which role and when, the payment at the time, and every check as it was decided. Below it is the Award as its summary shows it, and each section’s Evidence. Open a file to read it. Files open only while the Award waits for you.
Your decision
Under Your decision, choose Verified to complete the Award as verified, or Return to the participant to send it back. For each finding choose a Category of finding: evidence, time, assessor, reflection, eligibility or other. Then write What you found, up to 1000 characters. Choose Add a finding for another. A return needs at least one finding, and the participant reads your findings as the reason. A note is optional. Then choose Record the decision.
You cannot decide an Award you signed off, or your own. If another Verifier decided first, you are told, and nothing of yours is recorded.
What happens next
A verified Award is completed that day. A returned Award goes back to the participant, who changes it and submits it again. The participant and their Award Leader are told. Every step is kept in the audit log, and the reports show verification statistics by level and the findings.
